About me

Curious by nature, collecting stories from places, people, and everything in between.

Hi, I’m Harpreet.

I’ve been on the move for as long as I can remember.

My dad’s job took our family across India when I was a kid, and somewhere between new cities and new schools, I picked up a habit that never left: curiosity.

People have told me more than once that I ask too many questions. They’re probably right. That’s where the name comes from. Curious because I’ve never stopped asking, and The Traveller because the questions usually lead somewhere new.

I studied engineering, worked in HR, and now work in digital marketing. These days I mostly live in Canada, but at heart, I’ve always felt like a citizen of the earth.

The places I remember most are the ones where I met someone worth listening to.

What you’ll find here

Along the way, I’ve trekked the Himalayas and wandered through Russian winters, and I’ve learned that every journey leaves a mark. This site is where I share those stories: the places, the people, and the lessons they leave behind. Some come from the road. Others come from a book, a film, or a conversation that changed how I see things.

About me

Travel

Places I’ve explored, from mountain trails to quiet city streets, and what each one showed me.
About me

People

Stories of people I’ve met along the way, and the wisdom they shared, often without realizing it.
About me

Lessons

Ideas worth keeping, from books, films, and conversations that changed how I see things.

I’m not a full-time traveller or a big creator. I’m someone who goes when he can, pays attention, and writes down what stays with him.

If something here resonates with you, or you’d like to share a story or work on something together, I’d love to hear from you.
